Located approximately 320 kilometres East of Melbourne, via the Prince's Highway, Lakes Entrance is a fishing port and tourist destination. The climate is temperate with frosts being rare and the average summer temperatures being lower than most of the rest of Victoria.
The Lakes Entrance Bowls Club is located in the centre of town. Combined with the temperate climate, two excellent artificial greens allow bowling all year round with organised social games six days per week (Seven days per week during daylight saving).
